摘要
涌现论,作为一种新的认知理论视角,弥补了传统先验论与经验论存在的不足,强调机体和环境间的互动,认为相对简单的学习机制和大量复杂的语言环境相接触,促使了复杂的语言表达自然发生。此理论为语言习得的研究拓宽了思路,提供了更多的研究范围。简单介绍了涌现论的基本内容,探讨了涌现论与语言习得尤其是词汇习得研究相结合的问题。从词汇层面对学习者习得过程中涌现的特征进行了揭示,并为二语词汇教学提出了一些建议。
As a new concept system,emergentism supplements the deficiency ot the tradlt!onal aphorism and empiricism and emphasizes the interaction between organism and environment, holding that the expression of complex language naturally occurs after the exposure of relatively simple learning mechanism to complex language environments. Such a theory broadens the scope of second language acquisition study and provides more study area. This paper briefs the basic contents of emergentism and explores the problem of the combination of emergentism and lexical study in language acquisition. Moreover, the paper unveils the features emergent in the acquisition process of learners at the lexical level and raises new proposals for the lexical teaching of second language.
