再论孝的起源

On the Origin of "Filial Piety"

"孝"的起源问题可以有形而上与形而下两种途径的追问。从形而下的视角看,"孝"源于长幼之间的自然天伦,这种自然伦常情感在意识中逐渐形式化就积淀为"理","理"的践履就是人们所遵循的"道",行之有"道"就有"得",并体现为"德",这种"德"在长幼关系的处理上的体现就是"孝"。"孝"源于"伦",经历"伦"→"理"→"道"→"德"的发展演进,最终成就孝行与孝道,它起源于自然的天伦关系,经过形式化的价值抽象,最后在主体的践履中复归于现实的社会生活。

For the origin of filial piety there are two kinds of inquiries, metaphysics and physics. From the perspective of physics, filial piety stems from the natural bonds and ethical relationships between young and old in a family. This kind of natural family emotion is gradually formalized in human＇ s minds and becomes ＂truth＂ that is practiced according to ＂morals＂ people abide by. Doing things in appropriate ways results in ＂gains＂ which is reflected in ＂virtues＂. This kind of ＂virtue＂ is the embodiment of ＂filial piety＂ concerning relationships between different generations. Filial piety originated from human relations. After the evolution from ethics to truth, morals and to virtue at last, it. eventually makes ＂mourning＂ and ＂filial piety＂ which comes from the natural family relationships and returns to realistic social life in the practice of subject through formalized value abstract.
