摘要
印度当代作家R.K.纳拉扬塑造了许多"逃学"儿童形象,构成了他小说重要的生活场景,为他的小说世界增添了很多生气。纳拉扬通过这些生动的儿童形象和发生在他们身上的故事,再现了童年的纯真和明净,记录了童年的苦恼,同时比较隐晦地表达了自己对儿童教育的看法。
Contemporary Indian writer R. K. Narayan portrays many ＂hookey＂ children in his works, and interprets the conflict between children and school, animadverts the modern educational system. At the same time, Narayan expresses the ideal educational mode. His educational conception has close relationship with the Indian tradition.
