"电力专业英语"是电气工程及其自动化专业的一门必修课,是在学生经过英语四、六级考试并掌握了足够的专业知识后开设的一门课程。笔者针对该类学生从电力专业英语术语的基本构词方法、翻译技巧等教学内容安排方面,探讨了"授人以渔"的电力专业英语教学法。通过课堂教学的实践,表明取得了较好的教学效果。

English for Electric Engineering is a compulsory course for electrical engineering and automation students who have past CET 4 or 6 and have mastered adequate professional knowledge.The course generally has 32 credit hours or so.How to make students grasp the essence of electrical power specialty English and enable students to learn in a limited time,the author confers to teach fishing teaching method from teaching arrangements such as electrical power specialty English basic terminology word-building,translation skills etc.The teaching effect proves this method is very good.
