高等农业院校外语教学的跨学科发展方向

Interdisciplinary development of foreign language teaching in agricultural colleges and universities

当前我国大学外语教学存在诸多问题,实现外语教学的跨学科发展是社会发展的需要,是当前大学英语教学改革的重要方向。针对当前我国农业院校外语教学的现状以及存在的问题,提出几个改善途径:重视ESP课程教学、调整课程设置、改革教学内容、方法与模式、加强师资队伍建设,培养学生用英语在专业领域内进行研究和工作的能力,从根本上提升我国农业人才的国际竞争力。

Now the college English teaching is facing many problems, the interdisciplinary development of which is the need of social development and the direction of college English reform. Based on the analysis of the present situation and problems of foreign language teaching in agricultural colleges and universities, several approaches are suggested as follows： putting stress on ESP course; readjusling course designing; reforming teaching content and method; strengthening teachers＇ training; with the purpose of training student to do research or work in their special field in English, which can basically enhance the international competitive ability of agricultural talents.
