How to have the effective follow -up English teaching , to improve the students＇language profi- ciency should be studied in college English teaching curriculum. Level A Non - English majors in Grade 2008 in Huangshi Institute of Technology are surveyed through questionnaire and interview. And the necessity and feasibility for Non - English majors to have follow - up teaching are discussed and innovative college English curriculum construction system is explored from the view of syllabus planning, construction of teaching staff and management model.
