自由间接引语拥有两大属性,即模糊性与干预性,前者塑造出栩栩如生的人物形象,使小说融入了朦胧的审美效果;后者传达了小说作者的声音,隐秘地表达了同情或讽刺的情感。

Free indirect speech, as an expression technique, plays a tremendous part in Chinese and Western novels. It is not only the practice of narrative theory, but also the classic interpretation of literariness. There are two properties involved in the free indirect speech： ambiguity and interference. While the former creates vivid characters to make novels have an obscure effect, the latter conveys the voice of writers in which they express their sympathy or irony. The author wants to explore the infinite charm of the free indirect speech by analyzing its duality.
