摘要
语伴手势具有潜意识、伴随语言、规约化等多种特征,它与言语中所象征的实体之间的相似性特征表明语伴手势具有跨空间映射的潜力,这为用隐喻来解释语伴手势的生成机制奠定了基础。从语伴手势映射具体物体、抽象实体(包括空间概念、时间概念和抽象观点)等角度对其的分析表明,与言语相比,语伴手势具有灵活性,给言语产生和理解的认知过程提供了大量信息。
Co-speech gesture is characterized by many features such as subconsciousness,accompanying language and conventionalization.The iconicity between gesture and the discourse entity implies that co-speech gesture has the potentiality for the cross-domain mapping,which establishes a foundation to interpret the producing mechanisms of co-speech gesture by means of metaphor.The analysis from the angles of mapping concrete objects to Abstract entities reveal that compared with language,co-speech gesture is flexible and plays a significant role in the cognitive process of language production and comprehension.
