After examining Chomsky＇s criticisms about structuralistic linguistics and behaviouristic linguistics, and his innate language faculty, universal grammar, and poverty of the stimulus argument, the paper elucidates Chomsky＇s linguistic nativism, and discusses the significance and problems of linguistic nativism, and in what sense nativism can be talked about.
