摘要 肿瘤转移相关基因家族是近年发现的由某些肿瘤转移相关基因及其编码产物组成的家族,而作为该家族中首个被发现的基因,转移性肿瘤抗原1(metastatic tumor antigen 1,MTA1)基因在多种恶性肿瘤中过度表达,并且与人类肿瘤的恶性特征密切相关。MTA1基因在乳腺的激素调控和乳腺癌的发生、发展中都起到了重要的作用,因此MTA1基因及其编码蛋白的检测可能成为乳腺癌新的临床预后指标和治疗靶点。 As the first gene found in metastasis-associated gene family,which is a recently discovered family consisted of cancer progression-related genes and encoded products,metastatic tumor antigen 1(MTA1) is overexpressed in a variety of human cancers and correlates with the malignant properties of human cancers.Meanwhile,MTA1 plays an important role in regulating hormonal responses of normal mammary glands andprogression of breast cancer.Therefore,MTA1 gene and its protein may be new tools for clinical applications in breast cancer's diagnosis,treatment and prognosis.
