摘要
语言是文化的载体,承载着特定的民俗语言文化信息。英语教学不仅是语言教学,还包括文化教学。以习语为实例,介绍了它的民俗文化背景知识,力求籍此说明语言与文化相互交融的关系。在英语教学的各个环节,要以适当的方法对学习者进行必要的民俗文化教育。
Language is carrier of culture, including specific folklore culture information. In English teaching, not only should we emphasize the mastery of English knowledge,we also need to help them learn about the culture factors in language. With idiom,language teaching and culture factors are closely related with each other in English teaching. The English teacher should become the envoy of propagating culture.
