With the development of tourism industry, sense of responsibility in the tourism industry is increasing, hence the creation of responsible tourism. This paper first discusses the concept, connotation and significance of responsible tourism, and then analyzes the era characteristics and the adapting countermeasures of responsible tourism, for the purpose of raising the sense of responsibility of the tourism employers and employees, creating a civilized and harmonious environment of tourism, and promoting the healthy and orderly development of tourism industry.
