Superior Family Selection of Platanus occidentalis

对1999年引自美国的12个种源47个一球悬铃木半同胞家系子代进行了综合评定,在5个试验点分别筛选出了适应性强的优良家系。虽然对4、5年生的一球悬铃木进行选择的结果不尽相同,但诸如松江点的10、16,镇江点29、36等5个试验点的21个优良家系表现是相对稳定的,而14和36号家系则适应范围更广。5个试验点的优良家系多来源于美国中南部地区纬度偏低的地区,但除松江和东营试验点外,其他试点均受原产地经度影响不大,这说明一球悬铃木在我国的生长主要受原产地的纬度位置的影响明显。

A study was conducted to choose superior families of Platanua occidentalis with good adaptability in five trial sites based on the comprehensive evaluation on 47 hatf-sib families of P. occidentalis introduced from 12 provenances in America in 1999. Ahhough the results of selection on 4- and 5-year-old P. occidentalis were different, 21 superior families in the five trial sites represented stable adaptability, such as the fanlilies No. 10 and No. 16 in Songiiang and No. 29 and No. 36 in Zhenjiang, while the families No. 14 and No. 36 had more extensive adaptability. Most of the superior families in the five trial sites came from low latitude regions in south central America. Except for Songjiang and Dongying, P. occiclentalis families in other trial sites were little affected by longitudes of their provenances in original production areas, indicating that the growth of P. occidentalis in China was mainly affected by latitude of its provenance.
