The paper focuses on a new on- line literature assessment system - -F1000, analyzes its evaluation principle and measurement mechanisms to academic papers . After comparison with the traditional academic research and evaluation system, we found that F1000 service offers a systematic and comprehensive form of peer review that focuses on the best papers. Especially, it＇s useful in assessment of young talents＇ academic competence in biomedicine science.
