文华图书科是我国第一所图书馆学专门教育机构,通过对文华图书科创建历史的考察,回溯筹备和开学等初创情况,梳理我国图书馆学专门教育开展之初的种种因素和发展方向。

Boone Library School was the first institution of library science education in China. With the scope of Boone Library School the article goes back to the early days of Chinese library science education, in respect of the preparation and first term, and figures out the various factors which lead to the early development and direction of Chinese library science education.
