Based on the series articles published in Journal of Advanced Materials Progress since 2007,the energy situation and prospect of the world and United States were summarized.The resource,consumption,challenge,crisis and outlet of energy＇s topic,renewable and substituting fossil energy,carbon issue reducing and other problems were introduced also.
