ANALYSIS ON THE DESIGN METHODS OF NEW URBANISM COMMUNITY

新城市主义为当今社会提出了一种新的城市规划和设计指导思想。本文介绍了新城市主义产生的背景及其涵义,归纳总结了新城市主义社区在区域、邻里及街区、街道和建筑三种尺度下的设计方法,指出我国城市建设应把握和借鉴新城市主义的理念,将新城市主义的社区设计方法赋予中国化的内涵,对完善我国城市规划理论与实践具有一定的启示意义。

New Urbanism puts forward a new urban planning and design guidelines.This article introduces the background and the meaning of New Urbanism,and focuses on summarizing design methods of the New Urbanism Communities,mainly divided into three scales： region,neighborhood,block;street;building.And to explore and summarize that China should study the concept of New Urbanism and put Chinese connotation in New Urbanism,which will bring the enlightenment meaning of improving the theory and practice of urban planning in China.
