In this paper the advantages and disadvantages of traditional teaching and multimedia network teaching were discussed.It was presented that we must not only develop the virtue of traditional teaching in the basic principle of chemical engineering equipment teaching,but also add multimedia network teaching mode.By this way the students will bring up in high efficiency and in high quality by banding them together.
