在对已经发生的灾害经验总结中，高校校园作为相对适宜的防灾避难场所，本身也存在着一些设计误区和管理隐患。根据对灾害时校园内的真实情况的分析，对比高校校园建筑和环境与城市级应急避难所的普遍标准，高校校园的规划和设计应该加强统筹考虑综合防灾的功能，在避难建筑的疏散、空间结构、出入口及楼梯间细部设计、外部空间综合设施等方面给予充分考虑，使高校在避难方面的优势能够得以发挥，同时避免次生灾害和人为隐患所带来的进一步损失。

According to the experiences of the past natural disasters, while the college and university campus could be seems as a considerable place for people to take shelter, there are still some problems, natural and factitious. By analyzing the situation of a campus during the 512 earthquake, it is vital for designers to take disaster mitigation into consideration in regard to evacuation, .structures, escapes, and the exterior space of university architectures.
