Music education was a main theme of Franz Liszt＇ s late life. His idea for running Royal Hungarian Academy of Music when he was president and his personal charm as an outstanding educator, are foundation for development of Hungarian music education in his life time and after his death. Since the Academy＇ s foundation in 1875, it brought up generations of masters. It could achieve such a great outcome, decisive factors are that it had clear rules for running school, united high-caliber teachers and the enrolling principle for new students that ＂quality is more important than quantity＂.
