This thesis reorganized Hu Feng and Hope Society′s sideological struggle with literary circles as well as the clashes and conflicts with political forces in 1940s so as to present the complicated literary debates;to understand the forming character of Hu Feng′s literary ideas and its differences with mainstream ideology;to interpret that course of literary history and then to grasp the inner relationship between literary debates in 1940s and Hu Feng Event since the founding of P.R.China.
