在《红楼梦》和《家》两部小说中,"鸳鸯抗婚"和"鸣凤之死"这两个情节有相似之处——强权逼婚,以悲剧结尾。作为现实主义杰作的两部小说塑造了鸳鸯和鸣凤这两个大家族中的婢女形象。鸳鸯遭遇的逼婚源自于家族内部的"自杀自灭",鸣凤承受的逼婚压力则直指礼教吃人的罪恶;鸳鸯借助贾母的庇护实现了抗婚成功,鸣凤则以投湖自杀终结了逼婚阴谋;鸳鸯抗婚是一曲女奴悲歌,承载着"千红一哭,万艳同悲"的文本意蕴;鸣凤之死是一幕爱情悲剧,也成就了青年觉醒的文本主题。
In the two novels, A Dream of Red Mansions and The Family, there are two similarities, being forced into marriage and having an unfortunate ending, between the plot of "The Anti-marriage of Yuanyang and that of "The Death of Mingfeng". Two maidservant images, Yuanyang and Mingfeng, of two big families are shaped respectively in these two realistic novels. The reason for Yuanyang's being forced into marriage lies in the atmosphere of indulgence among the families. As to Mingfeng, the reason lies in the cruel feudal ethical code. While Yuanyang successfully avoids being forced into marriage by Jiamu's protection, Mingfeng breaks the conspiracy to force her into marriage through committing suicide by dropping into lake. "The Anti-marriage of Yuanyang" is a sad melody of female slave. It includes the text meaning of "Thousand Red Flowers in One Cavern, Ten Thousand Beauties in One Cup". "The Death of Mingfeng" is a scene of love tragedy, which contributes to the text theme of youth awakening
