一种用于移动可视电话编码的运动估计快速搜索算法 被引量:2

A fast motion estimation algorithm for mobile videophone coding

摘要 针对移动通信系统中实时视频通信的特点,提出了一种适用于可视电话和视频会议的视频压缩编码运动估计算法。利用当前块的3种预测矢量判断当前块运动矢量的类型,根据当前块运动矢量类型和移动可视电话视频对象运动的特点采用不同的搜索策略进行运动估计。通过对4种不同类型的视频序列进行测试,其测试结果表明,该算法在保证图像主客观质量的前提下,有效地减少了运动估计的时间,提高了编码的实时性。 According to the characteristic of real-time video communication in mobile communication system, a motion esti- mation algorithm for video compress coding that is applicable to video phone and video conference is presented. The paper judges the type of motion vector of the current block by using three predictive vectors of current block, and adopts different search strategy for motion estimation according to the type of motion vector of the current block and the feature that video objects move in mobile videophone. Through testing four different types of video sequences, the proposed algorithm effec- tively reduces motion estimation time, and improves real-time performance of encoder under the premise of subjective and objective quality of image.
