摘要
以α-甲氧基-ω-N-异丙醇基-对苯甲胺基聚乙二醇和环氧树脂E51为原料合成了1种新型聚醚改性环氧E51非离子型活性乳化剂(PEGE51),并用它制备了PEGE51/E51水性环氧树脂乳液。采用红外光谱对PEGE51的分子结构进行了表征,研究了乳化剂用量对乳液粒径、稳定性、胶膜力学性能、耐水性能的影响,以及乳化温度对乳液粒径、稳定性的影响。结果表明,乳化剂PEGE51对E51环氧树脂有较高的乳化活性,当PEGE51用量大于6%时均可得到水性环氧乳液。随着PEGE51浓度和乳化温度的升高,制备的乳液粒径都呈现先减小后增大的趋势。当PEGE51用量为9%、乳化温度为40℃时,乳液粒径最小,稳定性最好。环氧乳液与固化剂D230制成的环氧胶膜有较好的力学性能和较低的吸水性。
A new kind of high efficient nonionic active emulsifier (PEGE51)containing hydrophilic polyether segment for waterborne epoxy resins was synthesized from epoxy resi(E51)and α-methoxy-ω-N-isopropanol-paraphenylmethylamino polyethylene glycol.PEGE51/E51 waterborne epoxy emulsions were prepared by emulsifying E51 with PEGE51.The structure of the PEGE51 was characterized by IR spectroscopy.The influence of PEGE51 concentration on the average diameter and stability of PEGE51/E51 emulsions,the mechanical properties and water absorption of the D230- PEGE51/E51 cured products was investigated.The influence of the emulsification temperature on particle size and centrifugal stability of the PEGE51/E51 emulsions was also studied.The results show that PEGE51 performs high emulsifying efficiency and PEGE51/E51 waterborne epoxy emulsions are available when the concentration of PEGE51 is over 6%.Increasing the concentration of PEGE51 or the emulsification temperature,the average diameter of dispersed phase particles decreases firstly and then increases.The most stable PEGE51/E51 emulsions with the smallest particle size are obtained when PEGE51 concentration is 9%,meantime the D230-PEGE51/E51 cured product exhibits excellent mechanical properties and low water absorption.
