维生素D是维持骨骼健康必不可少的物质之一。目前全球约有10亿人维生素D不足或缺乏,大部分人需要额外补充维生素D来达到推荐的摄入量,而国外常用的补充剂是维生素D3(胆钙化醇)。现对老年人维生素D3的日推荐剂量一般在800IU以上,安全上限为2000IU。维生素D补充也是治疗骨质疏松症的基础。
Vitamin D is one of the most important hormones to maintain bone health.It has been estimated that 1 billion people worldwide have vitamin D deficiency or insufficiency.Most people require extra supplements of vitamin D to meet the recommended intake and vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) is usually recommended abroad.Now most clinical trials recommended an intake of more than 800 international units (IU) of vitamin D per day for old adults,and the safe upper limit for vitamin D intake was set at 2 000 IU per day.Vitamin D is the fundamental treatment of osteoporosis now.
