摘要
郭小庄是台湾京剧改革第一人。她深受著名学者俞大纲的戏剧观念影响,对台湾京剧进行了长达16年的改革。其剧目均选自中国古代故事、传说,主题大体不超出传统伦理的范围,但剧本结构出现由追求情感高潮向追求情节高潮的转变,表演上由追求程式化向追求内心化的转变,同时引进现代剧场的舞美和灯光以营造整体效果,呈现出明显的"中体西用"特征。
Guo Xiaozhuang is the first reformer of the Peking Opera in Taiwan.Influenced by the renowned scholar Yu Dagang,she devoted 16 years to the task.While she drew almost entirely from Chinese tradition for theme and plot,she emphasized plot structure over emotionalism,and psychological effect over conventionality in performance.In the meantime,she introduced set design and light of modern theatre for a total theatre effect.Her reformative efforts show a clear tendency of "putting the western form at the service of the Chinese spirit".
