This paper introduces the present situation and tasks of the journal information service of the library in scientific research institution, expounds the ideas for the digitalization construction of journal catalogue, and according to the concrete conditions of the scientific research institution, puts forward some measures for realizing digitalization of journals of the library of scientific research institution from aspects of the design of self-built database, the design of database table structural, the digital processing of journal catalogue, and software programming development, etc.
