高校图书馆服务社会化新论

A New Theory on University Library Service to the Community

文章基于当前我国高校改革发展中长期规划与国家文化体制改革的宏观视野,对高校图书馆服务社会化作出新的解读,并认为高校图书馆服务社会化既是高等教育改革发展的必然要求,也是顺应国家文化体制改革的客观需要,还是高校图书馆自身科学发展的现实选择。高校图书馆应该在立足于服务高校教学和科研的同时,主动在公共文化服务体系建设和赢利性知识服务这两条路径中采取适当的策略真正逐步实现服务社会化的目标。

The study of the University Library Service to community has been discussed intensely.Based on the macro-view of the long-term reform and development planning of Chinese universities and national cultural reform,this article makes a new interpretation of the university library service to the community.It argues that library service to the community is not only the necessary requirement for the development of higher education reform,but also the objective needs of conforming to the national cultural system reform,the development of the choice of academic library itself for reality and scientific development as well.Library services should be based on the teaching and research at first,while it is necessary to take some initiative and appropriate strategies in the public cultural service system and the profitable knowledge services to realize the target of services to the community.
