The purpose of work-study program at the college is in essence to serve the students, which requires a philosophical reflection on the object, the people. Marx＇s Praxis-Human Theory emphasizes human existence in a way of generative thinking, which throws light on our work-study work. Generative-thinking oriented work-study mode takes the generation and integrity of human beings as the value guidance, while taking the generation of process and creation as the practice, highlighting the subjectivity, humanity, practicality, and openness; it focuses on the students democratic participation, multiple pursuits, accumulation of experience, and an integrated development.
