New urban and rural medical insurance is a key medical work and clear taske,and is the necessary requirement of the basic medical insurance system improvement.Through taking the urban and rural medical insurance system in developed countries as references,the misunderstanding of urban and rural medical insurance in the experience of urban and rural exploration practice are analyzed,and suggestions and thinking of realizing medical insurance in urban and rural eras as a whole are proposed.
