“女媭”:屈原灵魂的象征符号

关于《离骚》中的"女媭"形象,一直众说纷纭,有"原姊"、"侍妾"、"使女"、"巫女"等诸说。这些观点都有一个共同之处,就是把女媭视为一个真实存在的形象,通过博引旁征来证明"女媭"的身份。如从符号学的角度来解读"女媭",将其看做一个凝结诗人情感、表现诗人灵魂的象征"符号",则更能深刻地体会屈原愤激痛苦的情感跌宕和其傲然不屈的灵魂。

There are various kinds of sayings about the image of Nü Xu in Li Sao,such as ＂QU Yuan＇s sister＂,＂concubine＂,＂maid girl＂,＂witch＂ and so on.These views all characteristically consider ＂Nü Xu＂ as a real person and try to confirm her identity by citing lots of examples.However,from the aspect of semiotics,only by regarding her as a symbol which gathers and expresses the poet＇s feelings can the readers experience QU Yuan＇s unyielding mind when he was confronted with twists and excruciation.
