The eco-feminism holds that nature and woman can co-exist harmoniously and there exists the critical relationship between devaluation of femininity and of nature. Lawrence＇ s novel Odour of Chrysanthemums presents his advanced consciousness of eco-feminism. In the novel, he explores the loss of identity on the part of nature and women, criticizing the destructive effect of industrialization on environment and human creativity. Especially, he reveals the men＇ s superiority over women and expresses his ideal of developing the female self-consciousness.
