青奥会契机下的南京城市国际化发展路径探析

Exploration of the Developmental Route of Nanjing's internationalization with the Opportunity of the Youth Olympic Games

目前推进城市国际化,打造国际城市已成为各个国家、各大城市一种新的发展途径。而大型赛事是具有全球影响力和广泛参与度的体育盛会,能够推动举办城市的国际化发展进程。青奥会作为规模仅次于奥运会的大型体育赛事,2014年将在南京举办。因此南京应以青奥会为契机,抓住赛前、赛中、赛后三个阶段机遇,改善南京城市现状,以此消除南京城市国际化发展中的障碍。

The tide of internationalization has swept over the whole world, and building an international city is a new way of development that conforms to the trend of times for various countries. Large sports events have global influence and extensive participation which will directly affect the city＇s economic growth and the international development. The Youth Olympic Games as a large sports event, which is second to Olympic Games in scale, will be held in Nanjing in 2014. This paper aims at elaborating on how to seize the opportunity of the Youth Olympic Games to improve the status of Nanjing city and eliminate the obstacles of Nanjing＇s internationalization development.
