A Study on Emotions in The Great Gatsby From the Perspective of Cognitive Poetics

从认知诗学的角度,着眼于小说中时代的社会风貌和生活气息,从货币对情感的异化、情感中的道德价值的转变、社会层面的理性与情感的发展失调三个方面,探究《了不起的盖茨比》中那些能够引起情感反应的、认知的诗学暗示或线索,解读爵士时代的情感危机。

From the perspective of cognitive poetics,this paper,against the backdrop of the society,delves into the cues,which cause emotional or cognitive reactions in The Great Gatsby,from three parts： the alienation of emotions by money,change of moral value,and disorder between rationality and irrationality,interpreting the crisis of emotions in the Jazz Age.
