Project procurement is an important link of petroleum engineering general contract projects which has a significant action and influence on the controls of project construction period and cost. After analyzing the shortcomings of the management mode of multi-level dispersed procurement, this paper discusses the advantages of intensive procurement and indicates problems needing attention in intensive procurement operation.
