ZHANG Shun-hui's Understanding about Changzhou School

张舜徽对常州学术的理解不同于其前的清学史家。他以常州地区特有的学风与宗尚为关怀来研究常州地域学术,其观察着眼点不在于具体单一的学术形态,而在于常州经世致用的内在学术精神。在这样的前提之下,张舜徽以"经世致用"的学术精神为标准建构了囊括常州今文经学谱系成员及常州其他学者在内的常州学术谱系。张舜徽对常州学术的独特理解突破了长期以来理解常州学术的"公羊—今文"典范,非常具有启发意义。他之所以有如此理解,原因在于他以"经世致用"为依归的学术旨趣。

ZHANG Shun-hui＇s understanding of Changzhou School is quite different from former historians.His research is based on the special learning style and prevailing custom of Changzhou.The point that he focused on is the internal academic spirit of applying the classics into practice in stead of the simplex form of academics.In such a premise,Zhang build a pedigree of Changzhou School which included the members＇JIN Wen classics＇ as well as other scholars in Changzhou.Zhang＇s special understanding of Changzhou School has broken through the common one known as＇Gong yang-Jin wen＇paradigm for quite a long time.His understanding lies in the very pursuit of applying the classics into practice.
