客观认识陈独秀五四时期哲学思想,本质上就是坚持马克思主义辨证认识历史人物及其思想的重要体现。五四时期陈独秀哲学思想基本上经历了前后两个阶段。前期主要体现了进化论、无神论、经验论、人性论思想;而后期则接受了历史唯物论关于阶级、阶级斗争和无产阶级专政理论,也接受了历史唯物论关于劳动创造世界观点和马克思剩余价值学说。五四时期陈独秀已是初步具有共产主义思想的知识分子。
