市场经济的发展推动着传统农村的发展,而在整个时代浪潮中乡土社会里的传统文明与市场经济下的现代文明却处在妥协与冲突的矛盾中。作家贾平凹在《秦腔》中揭示了这一系列的矛盾,在小说中不同人物身上都有着不同的显现,黑娥和白娥这两个典型的传统女性的转变正好集中体现了这一点,折射出了乡土社会的两种生存模式:即传统文明与市场经济带来的现代文明在妥协中共同发展,传统文明游离于市场经济的边缘而盲目发展;这两种发展模式都具有一定的合理性和预见性,在白娥和黑娥这两个传统女性的思想意识和行为举止的转变中昭示得十分清晰,见证了乡土社会在发展中蜕变的历史。

This conflict can be found in the Shaanxi Opera written by Jia Ping-wa. Every character has his own characteristic, especially in the actresses. Hei E and Bai E, which reflects two different kinds of survival modes： the traditional civilization and the modern civilization with the market economy in the common development completed. Traditional civilization develops blindly in the edge of the market economy. Both of the two types have their appropriation and predictability. Bai E and Hei E, these two traditional women＇s thought and the changing behavior shows very clear, which verifies the transformation history in the development of rural society.
