认知视域下的色彩语码及其翻译研究

A Study of Color Terms and Their Translation——from a Cognitive Perspective

色彩认知域是人类的基本认知域。色彩认知的表现有两种:概念认知和修辞认知,前者是理性的,后者是审美性的。它们在色彩语的识解过程中显示出各自的独特性,这对色彩语码的翻译具有导引作用,即色彩认知能够诱导译者选择翻译认知视角和认知路径,生成适切的译文。

The domain of color cognition is the basic one of human cognition. In the cognitive domain exist two types of cognition, conceptual and rhetorical, with the former being rational and the latter aesthetic. They both highlight their own performances in the construal of color terms, which impose constraints on the translation of color terms. That is, the exploration into the color cognition can guide the translator to choose cognitive perspective and path of translation before the production of the appropriate translated text.
