长兴茶业历史发展概述

长兴,晋时置＂长城＂县,五代吴越时改名＂长兴＂,是我国古代著名茶叶产地。据现存有关茶史资料推测,长兴最早栽培茶树或茶业兴起的时间,大抵和其北邻的今江苏宜兴相差不多,不会迟于西汉末年。长兴自汉以后,经六朝的缓慢发展,至隋唐特别是到唐朝中期,在结束分裂割据的动乱局面后,迅速发展成为全国制茶技术中心的贡焙所在之地。
