全球本土化语境下的英语教育探究

The Exploration of English Education within the Context of Globalization

当今世界政治、经济、文化全球化发展,导致了异域文化与本土文化不断相互渗透与交融,也致使人们重新考量本土文化与外来文化之间的关系。同时,随着英语语言全球化和本土化的发展,我国的英语教育也必然要考虑全球化和本土化的需求。在探讨英语语言全球化和本土化基础上,分析了当前我国英语教育的不足,并从师生跨文化交际观、教材内容和教学理论等视角,对我国英语教育的转向,提出了一些建议。

The development of political,economic and cultural globalization in the world has rendered the mutual permeation and integration of foreign cultures and the local ones,resulting in the reconsideration of their relations.Meanwhile,with the globalization and localization of English language,English education in China must take the need of these two trends into account.Drawing on the globalization of English language,this article analyzes the weakness of the current English education in China,and then presents some suggestions pertaining to its re-orientation from the perspective of the attitude of intercultural communication held by many teachers and students,the content of text materials,and the teaching theories.
