Can Socialism and Capitalism Converge in terms of the Social System——On Xin Ziling's Viewpoint about Future Social Development Trend

社会主义取代资本主义是社会发展的客观规律,不以人们意志为转移。社会主义与资本主义,作为两种社会制度,本质上是对立的,不可能趋同。西方国家正在对社会主义国家推行和平演变战略,两种社会制度的趋同是一种幻想。从认识角度看,趋同论的主要错误是,把运行机制的某些共性和经济贸易来往的密切化当作基本制度的趋同。民主社会主义是作若干改良的资本主义制度,而不是两种社会制度趋同的结果。中国特色社会主义同民主社会主义有着原则区别。

The replacement of capitalism by socialism is the objective law of social development,and is independent of man＇s will.Socialism and capitalism,as two social systems,are opposite in nature,are never converged.Western countries have been promoting the peaceful evolution strategies in socialist countries,which means the convergence of these two systems is kind of fantasy.Regarding the epistemology,the Theory of Convergence has its main mistake as follows： It mistakes some of commonalty of running system and the closeness of economical business for the convergence of the basic systems.Democratic socialism is the reformed capitalism rather than the convergence of these two social systems.There exists some difference in principles between socialism with Chinese characteristics and democratic socialism.
