Communication skills are widely taught in US medical schools, but such teaching is in its infancy in China.So importanee should be paid to the communication skills education in medical college students＇ curriculum. There should he an integration of communication skills, including effective teaching methods, assessments, and examinations in commniecation skills teaching in order to bring significant improvements in residents＇ performance.
