推进新农村建设,首要任务是"建设现代农业",而建设现代农业要培养新型农民,农村成人教育担负着培养新型农民的历史责任。嵩县是国家级贫困县的现状,尝试在新农村建设的时代要求下,认识农村成人教育在新农村建设中的地位和作用,分析农村成人教育工作现状、存在问题,提出贫困县大力发展农村成人教育的对策与建议。

To develop new rural construction, the primary task is to ＂build a modern agriculture＂, while the construction of modem agriculture should train new farmers, rural adult education bears the historical responsibility of training new farmers.
