摘要
梁启超称20世纪初自己所处的时代为"过渡时代",是一个"两头不到岸之时"。在这样一个时代,教育必须优先发展。发展教育,中国古代"可行于今日"的东西,必须采纳;西方"可行于中国"的东西,也应该采纳。"过渡时代"同时给中国知识分子带来了内心的极度不安,要度过这个困难时期,需要乐观的意识和谨慎的态度。为此,既要重视快乐学习,又要注重发展受教育者的个性。
Liang Qichao considers the beginning of the 20th century as a "transition time", when the development of education should be given the priority. He holds that whatever from ancient China and from abroad "suits the present situation" must be adopted. Another point of view of his is that the "transition time" perturbs Chinese intellectuals and that sense of optimism and caution is needed.
