The first in China commercial test unit for manufacture of synthetic natural gas （SNG） through low-temperature methanation of coke oven gas rated at 5000 m^3/d has completed its 1000-hour continuous tests at the Tongshida Cokery in Shanxi province. It is learned that the whole process technology is the first innovative project realized in China or even in the world, and has filled the gap for manufacture of SNG from coke oven gas through low- temperature methanation process in China.
