The LY-2005 catalyst for full hydrotreating of C4 and C5 hydrocarbons developed by PetroChina＇s Petro- chemical Research Institute has been applied in commercial scale at the mixed C4 and C5 production unit of Shanghai Petrochemical Company. This catalyst is for the first time successfully applied in the commercial unit following its application at the Lanzhou Petro- chemical Company. The operation of process unit has shown that this catalyst can completely substitute for the similar imported catalysts judging from its performance indicators.
