版本信息是文献内容的重要揭示,是用户选择文献的重要依据,因此版本的著录是非常重要的。但在版本著录的实践中往往存在较大差异。版本信息包含说明性版本信息和记录性版本信息。通过对记录性版本信息与说明性版本信息及其著录意义的比较发现,记录性版本信息著录在205字段、说明性版本信息著录在200字段$e子字段的著录方法是合理的。这种著录方式使复杂多样的版本信息变得清晰明了,降低了版本著录的难度,有利于实现版本著录的统一。

The edition information is the revelation of the document content and the important basis for users selecting documents,so the edition description is very important.But there are some obvious differences in the edition description.The edition information contains explanatory edition information and record edition information.Through comparing the difference between the record edition information and the explanatory edition information and their description significances,it shows that the description method of cataloging the record edition information to 205 field and cataloging the explanatory edition information to 200 field $e subfield are reasonable.The description method makes edition information clear and distinct,reduces the difficulty of the edition description and is beneficial to the unity of the edition description.
