印前编目与在版编目、联合编目的区别与联系

Differences and Relations among Pre-Press Cataloging,Cataloging in Publication and Union Cataloging

印前编目与在版编目(CIP)和联合编目既有区别又有联系。通过对三者的比较分析发现,印前编目、在版编目和联合编目在编目机构、编目主体、编目对象、编目时间、编目目的、编目用途方面存在区别;而印前编目与CIP和联合编目之间的联系则更多地表现在印前编目对CIP时效性的继承、对联合编目联合性的发展及在前两者的基础上引入专业分工理念的创新。

Pre-press cataloging,cataloging in Publication（CIP） and union cataloging are related but different with each other.Through comparative analysis of pre-press cataloging,CIP and union cataloging,there are differences in cataloging agencies,cataloging subjects,cataloging objects,cataloging time,the purpose of cataloging and cataloging usages.Relations among pre-press cataloging,CIP and union cataloging show that pre-press cataloging not only inherits the timeliness of CIP and develops the associativity of union cataloging,but also introduces the innovation concept of specialization based on CIP and union cataloging.
