Paying Equal Attention to Politics and Culture——Library Missions During the Republic of China

民国时期,我国正处于从近代社会向现代社会转型蜕变的重要阶段,政治风云变幻,思想文化激荡,内忧外患迭起。图书馆顺应社会潮流,及时调整使命,政治与文化并重,具体表现在实行党化教育、宣传进步思想、启发民智、激发抗日爱国情怀、介绍学术、保存国粹等方面。

Things all have their special roles in the world,and take quite missions.As the social cultural educational institution,libraries naturally are placed more expectations,and take on more missions.During the Republic of China,China was in the important stage of metamorphosis from the contemporary society into the modern society,including： politics was in a changeable situation,pay equal attention to palitics and culture,internal and external problems happened repeatedly.Libraries went with social trends,adjusted their missions timely,and paid equal attention to politics and culture.Specific performances are as followings： implementing the party-oriented education,publicizing progressive ideas,inspiring the wisdom of the people,arousing the national humiliation,introducing the academic,conserving the national essence,and so on.
